This course provides an in-depth look at IEEE 1815. It presents recent additions, enhancements, and clarifications to the protocol; methods for integrating IEEE 1815 with IEC 61850; and ways to improve security. This course is intended for anyone implementing or considering implementing DNP3 networks. It will provide an in-depth look at configuring and using IEEE 1815 in real-world applications. Attendees will learn how to design and configure DNP3 installations to improve security and to integrate with IEC 61850 systems. Suggestions for device testing will also be discussed.
